Handmade Abalone Shell Inlay Earrings in Sterling Silver
These earrings were made in Coastal Western Canada, where Abalone shells naturally occur. The artist created slices from the shell and then sets them in the silver form. In this case, bezel set. One of a kind.
Abalone shells have casts of shiny blues and greens, sometimes with hints of pinkish mauve. It makes a great look for all season wear as it picks up so many colours.
